Online Booking

We ask you to read our Online Booking Terms and Conditions as well as our Cancellation Policy as you will be asked to confirm that you have read and understood these before your booking can be confirmed.

Please note that when you make your reservation, Madrid Golf Rentals will charge your payment card for the amount due for the entire “Rental Period” (as defined below). By acknowledging these Terms and Conditions, you also authorize Madrid Golf Rentals to charge your debit or credit card for any late, lost, stolen, broken, non-returned equipment, and for all other amounts payable under these Terms and Conditions. 

The following terms and conditions shall constitute the Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) under which Casanova Golf, SL (owner of Madrid Golf Rentals) shall rent Golf equipment (“Golf Rental Equipment”) to (“you” the “Renter”).

Subject to Availability:

Madrid Golf Rentals will make all reasonable efforts to provide you with the Golf Rental Equipment you desire. However, please note that due to unknown factors such as Rental Equipment not being returned on time, insufficient Lead Time, lost or stolen equipment, etc., all of our Rental Equipment is subject to availability. If the Rental Equipment you desire is unavailable, we may swap it for similar. We will endeavour to make you aware of the change, but it is not always possible. We reserve the right to change clubs for similar.

Delivery and collection 

Equipment shall be picked up/collected on the First Hire Day and shall be returned on the Last Hire Day at Madrid Golf Rentals office or pre-arranged hotel chosen on the date and time specified by the Renter on the booking submission form as these are the collection details approved by Madrid Golf Rentals in their acceptance of the Renter’s order.

Clients must be present and produce their passports at the time of delivery, failing which Madrid Golf Rentals will have the right to refuse delivery of the equipment.

Reservation Cancellations and Changes:

You may cancel this Agreement at any time prior to the “First Rental Day” by notifying Madrid Golf Rentals by e-mail of your wish to cancel. Phone cancellations cannot be accepted. An administration fee of €10.00 per set will apply to all cancellations. Reservations cancelled within 15 days of the First Rental Day will be charged at 25% of the booking amount. Reservations cancelled within 7 days of the First Rental Day will be charged at 50% of the booking amount. Reservations cancelled less than 48 hours before the First Rental Day will be charged the total value of the booking amount. Renters who have opted for our Silver Cover can avail of a full refund, less €10.00 per set administration fee for cancellations up to 72 hours before the first day of rent

Unused Booking: Equipment that is scheduled to be picked up will be kept for 12 hours and then cancelled. If the golf hire equipment is not picked up, no refund will apply and no amendment will apply to any unused booking.

Reservations for Golf Rental Equipment that is delivered to a hotel and not picked up on the date and within the time slot specified by the Renter on the booking submission form for delivery will be returned to our offices. No refund will apply and no amendment will apply to any unused booking. Should it be necessary to reschedule delivery, this will be subject to a new delivery charge.

Changing bookings and Extension of Hire Period. We will do our best to accommodate any changes you wish to make to your booking, including any extension you wish to make to the hire period. Please note, however, that any such changes are subject to availability, particularly when requested within 72 hours or less of your first hire day.

Equipment Damages / Lost/Stolen:

Unreturned clubs or equipment will result in the charging of the Renter’s card at the Full Replacement Price of said equipment. The term Damaged / Broken club applies to shaft damage only, any damage thereafter will be deemed lost / stolen. Clubs deemed unrepairable will be charged at Lost / Stolen rate. If you have chosen the Silver Cover, any damaged / broken club excess will be zero, provided the club head is undamaged. Damaged / Dented / Broken club heads will be treated as Lost / Stolen and the fee related to the Silver Cover policy will be applied. 

Prices:
All rental prices shall be as listed on the website, and are subject to change without notice until you book your reservation. All purchase prices are also subject to change without notice until you make your purchase. The prices take into account all mandatory charges and include Value Added Tax or any other local tax.

Madrid Golf Rentals will charge your credit card for the amount due for the entire Rental Period when you make your reservation. Cancelled or changed reservations shall be subject to refunds or charges on your credit card pursuant to the terms of this Rental Agreement.

All rentals and purchases that you make through Madrid Golf Rentals will be transacted by means of a valid credit card at the time of making a reservation and/or purchase. Renter hereby authorizes Madrid Golf Rentals to charge Renter’s credit card for any amounts due plus any late, lost, stolen, broken, non-returned equipment, and for all other amounts payable under the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

Silver Cover Protection – Damage / Loss Waiver

Failure to return the equipment for any reason on the Last Hire Day or when requested to do so by Madrid Golf Rentals will result in our charging your payment card the full amount of the replacement cost. As Madrid Golf Rentals will only provide original manufacturer produced clubs, the replacement cost will be based on the manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the equipment, in addition to any charges for the Rental Period.

 

Where Silver Cover Protection has been purchased, the charge with respect to damage shall be reduced to zero providing the head of the club is returned undamaged (shaft damage only). Where the head of the club is not returned, said equipment will be deemed as lost/stolen. If any damaged club returned is unrepairable, this will also be deemed as lost/stolen and the appropriate amount will be automatically charged to the payment card. Any club head damage will be assess on a case by case basis.

Abuse/Neglect/Misuse of Equipment will be deemed as lost/stolen

Where the Silver Cover damage/loss waiver has been purchased, the charge in respect to lost/stolen equipment shall be reduced to the excess for that club(s). A full tariff of excesses is listed below.

Abandoned/ Recovery Of Club Sets

Should there be a requirement to recover abandoned items from your hire set from your accommodation or Golf Course after you have departed, there will be a fee of €25 plus €1.15 per km for the recovery of each set or item.

The same charges shall apply if an item is lost and subsequently found at your hotel or golf course.
